2nd day of malacca trip

woke up and we went down for breakfast. wow, a large crowd, couldn't handle. there were not enough bowls, plates, cutleries and stuff. luckily mum came down early and got us all a table.

After breakfast, we came down to the lobby to wait for our transport. Today is shopping day and sight seeing day.



We went to 'eye of malaysia' first. it's like a ferris wheel, just that it's air con.





Then after that we went shopping and have lunch at jonker's dessert. the queue is really long at this place. It is supposed to be a musuem cafe. so it's really crowded. luckily we have many of us, some look for tables, some queue up for the laksa and chendol. the tables were quite small, so we had to separate our seating arrangement.





and of course, shopping. needless to say, mum and aunties bought a lot of stuff.


When we came back from shopping, of course, the children went for a swim before dinner. after swimming, they even had fun in the bathtub.



The restaurant that we wanted to have dinner at was so fully booked and fully packed. we had to settle for a less than desirable place for dinner. the food is ok, not that bad. we even packet the chicken back to the hotel room as we are going to have a 'party' later in the room in aunt sal's room.
