On Monday, brought the maid to Singpost. She wanted to send a hp over to Indonesia which her brother requested her to buy. Went there too early, so dropped by Mac to have breakfast.
Talked to her and told her that her contract will end by end of this year, so i asked her to give it a serious thought if she wants to continue. I know that it has been hard on her recently as my mil getting more and more gila. She keeps thinking about committing suicide. kept asking the maid for the key to the window grilles. that day, the children all chided her for entertaining such thoughts and suddenly, my bil (in a humourous tone) said that even if she can open the window grille, she would be too heavy to stand up. then, he laughed. of course, my mil gave him the cold hard stare.

anyway, at the back of my mind, i'm just worried that if she decides to leave after her contract ends, i may not be able to get a maid that can tolerate her.

i know she is frustrated inside, but really, the maid is also someone else's daughter too.
