today we went to juju hokkaido hotpot for lunch. set lunch for adult was 19.90, and children, 9.90. total bill was $70. almost the same if we go to din tai fung, but we were all so full.

It's a minipot thing, each of us have our own pot. so we ordered our main dish, beef and seafood, for children's pork and fish. so we could share around the food. the starter was an egg. i think it's duck egg, very delicious.

then the food came. but the food was put on such nice, elaborate dishes, with vege and the plate is in a shape of a boat, so it really took up a lot of space. both the kids ate a lot and needless to say, the adults had to finish all the food. Max had a good time cooking.

after that, the children got ice cream, but because we only ordered 2 children's sets, there were only 2 ice creams. so max cried very loudly because he didn't have one. the waitress came over and asked what happened. she gave max a free cup of ice cream.

overall, it was a nice experience. but if i could go without max, that would be even better.
