June 14 2010 Day 9 of vacation

Last night, as we were standing and watching the stars, we actually saw 2 falling stars. i made a two wishes.

In the morning, made the children woke up early as the farm activities start at 830am. They fed the chickens, the ponies, the rabbits, the calves. After that, they had a pony ride. While they took turns to ride the pony, we were looking at clover. It was growing abundantly all over the grass. I found a four-leaf clover.

Dun play play, i found a four leave clover:

After that, we took a tractor ride:

Then we made our way to Pemberton. Before that, we stopped by Busselton. However, the Busselton jetty was under renovation. This was our second time here, the first time, it was too windy, no chance to take the tram out to the jetty. Now, it was under renovation, still no chance to go to the end of the jetty.

After lunch, we hurried to Pemberton. Our accommodation is at the lavender farm. First, we bought a lot of lavender related products at the souvenir shop, the children fed the alpaca.

The ducks also came to eat the feed as the children fed the alpaca.

buying things at the souvenir shop:

marcus and max were bored when we were shopping in the shop:

It was difficult to set up the fire as the wood was wet. I literally had to pick twigs, small twigs to start the fire first, so village-like, feels like I’m living in the old times.

some pictures of the place:

Max playing in the backyard:

The place is very cold at night, we all didn’t want to bathe.
