I just realised i have 41 posts this month. Is this one of my highest?

I should be happy today because performance bonus!!!!!!! but my spirits are not lifted, maybe i'm too fat, too heavy, so spirits also difficult to be lifted.

doing work and listening to air supply's 'making love out of nothing at all.' put on my ear piece and i was singing to the making love part, my colleagues turned around to look at me. i must have sounded weird.

concert

Argh, Jacky Cheung added another show to his concert in August.

I am torn, should i buy tickets to go or should I not? It's like the air supply one, they may never come again. Why can't i be decisive and decide, yes or no?

Not a good week

This week started out bad, I was always feeling tired. Mid week blues were here. Really feel so..... mentally exhausted.

Brain Dead

working working working, how i wish i can stay at home to look after children. working causes me to be brain dead, emotion dead and physical dead at the end of the day.

Persevere, still got to go through homework with children. Counting down to sleeping time, counting down to public holiday!!!!!!

Camp

For a 30 plus year old, camping in school has brought back memories. Tonight, during the campfire, i looked up and saw the moon, i don't know why, but i was overwhelmed with memories and feelings. Ha, there will be one more at Pulau Ubin in July.

This one is in school, tonight staying up, less teachers around. so with the radio accompanying me, checking on the students occasionally, doing some marking, eating some supper, later drinking some coffee. It's nice to have camps once a while.

Full moon

The moon is very alluring tonight. I'm mesmerized by it, attracted to it. I may turn into a vampire, beware!

Alaska

Was watching this documentary on National Geographic, Alaska State Troopers. It's a documentary on the policemen and their work in Alaska. In one of the episode, the sun was setting but it was 12 midnight! so out of curiosity, i googled on Alaska.

A common notion about Alaska is that the whole state goes dark in the winter and has endless sunlight in the summer. That's not quite the case.

Barrow, at the very top of the state, has a two-month winter period in which the sun doesn't rise. But that's the extreme, and winter's long nights get shorter the farther south you go. South of the Arctic Circle, every place has sunlight at least part of the day.

In the summer, all of Arctic Alaska gets 24-hour sunlight for at least one day at the solstice. Barrow has continuous daylight for 85 days. South of the circle, every town has a night every day, even if it's quite brief.

Long dawns and dusks can make the day appear longer than it actually is. Even as far south as Anchorage, it's possible to read a newspaper outdoors at 2 a.m. -- two hours after sunset -- in the days around the summer solstice.

The highest temperature is 3 degree Celsius, and the lowest temperature is -29 degree Celsius.

It is an interesting place.

max

My dear max, so cute.

1) he drew on the wall and sofa's pillows. Mabel told me this while i was having dinner. Max was so worried that i'll scold him that he sat beside me throughout my dinner. I could sense he was worried. so after dinner, i asked him to follow me upstairs to the room. He grabbed two pieces of tissue paper and he started crying on his way up.

When i asked him to explain why he drew on the wall, he cried out loud. (i rolled my eyes, because it's like win liao lor, i melted when he cried) I asked him what he had to say when he did something wrong, he cried and said at the same time, 'sorry, mummy.'

2) he knew that i would be camping in school this weekend, he came to me and told me he missed me.

Aiyo, i hope the holidays does not end. I'm enjoying the holidays with my children. grown closer to them.

Movie - diary of a wimpy kid

Brought 3M to watch the movie. It was funny. The two elder kids enjoyed themselves, partly because they read the book. Max was a little impatient, i had to carry him on my lap.

But i guess it was a nice show generally.

Blogging on the toilet seat

Gd morning!!! I'm blogging while I'm peeing, how weird can I get?

Woke up very early this morning, about 6am, when I heard the sound of raindrops pattering on the windows.

Mmmmmm, ok, confirm, no chocolate cake. Oh yah, do u undress, stark naked in the morning to brush teeth etc while u r in the toilet?

Observations

things that i've completed for the day

1) fetch mil to hospital for check up
2) brought children to the library

on the way home, we saw a toyota wish, back bumper disappeared. looks weird without the bumper, just like a person without wearing pants.

At the library, saw this lady, carrying her baby, think the baby is 2 months or at most 3 months. The baby look so peaceful sleeping while the mummy is reading a book. so cute. makes me miss having a baby. it's funny, do woman get depressed for not able to have a baby? i remembered, when max was a little baby and i was enjoying my maternity leave. I was like carrying him out to kai kai almost every day, then at about 5 plus, i would go and fetch marcus and mabel from kinderland. no wonder max love to go out now, becos i've spoilt him while he was young. memories....

Today, mabel tried to bake cookie on her own. I'm sure she got sopia to help out with the creaming.

I tasted the cookies, it was not bad. I would say quite tasty.

Diary of a wimpy kid movie

The children would like to watch the movie, a diary of the wimpy kid. ok, I would plan.

Donation

Would like to help out in some way or another for the japan quake. However, most of the organisations' websites is asking for cash donations. call me skeptical, but i really wonder how much of these cash donation is really channelled to japan. Hence, in the end, i didn't donate.

is there any other way i can help?

1st day of holiday again

This morning, brought max and mabel to giant to shop for baking stuff. When we came back, tried out one recipe for cookie. half succeed. Tomorrow, we shall try another recipe for cooking. Another day, we will bake muffins.

Today, the children want to cook their own spaghetti for lunch.

While we were baking cookie, i was also marking their assessment books (last week's work). cannot accumulate, a lot to mark. in the meantime, set some work for them to do. so it's about 12 plus now, most of the things are settled. quite a good start to the week. The only downhill is i'm easily frustrated by the children.

1st day of holiday

I cannot stay at home, I get easily frustrated with children. I cannot stand them quarreling, tardiness, this cannot do, that cannot do.

Max got scolded by me already.

right, so what is the hype about victoria secret? the models or really, the lingerie? When there is a chance, I would try VS lingerie and experience it. Or anybody who have worn VS lingerie before, leave something on my tagboard and tell me what you like about it.

on the note of lingerie or undergarments, so wearing it underneath some clothing, is it or is it not meant to be seen? It's like if i'm wearing VS lingerie underneath, I would want the world to know, right? or am I wrong? so sometimes, if bra strap are shown, i personally feel that there is nothing to be embarrassed about.

chest pain again

despite having regular meals yesterday, i had heartburn again!!!! and last night, my gastric seems quite bad at about 10pm plus. and i had dinner!!!!

this morning, slight chest pain.

morning rush

Wa, this morning was mad crazy.

first, it was marcus. Going on a fieldtrip but do not want to pack his own things. The maid was packing for him, so i got fed up and i unpack everything and make marcus pack it into his bag himself.

Next, Mabel handed me some test papers to sign, scolded her because it was suppose to be done in the night before.

so to be fair, i picked on Max too. asked to see the ipod touch, because it's been a long time i saw it, same thing, ask the maid put where, so scolded him for always depending on the maid.

then came down to the carpark, one mercedes parked so close to my car, fed up!

It was a bad morning.

People, I've resurrected my facebook account. Actually it was never deleted, i just had to type in my email address and password, vola, my account resurfaced!

I killed the account on Halloween 2009, i resurrected it on International Women Day in 2011.

As i was walking to east point with colleagues for some tea, along the way, a lady just ask me if I was SAndra from nanyang jc. She told me her name but honestly I cannot recall. She said she used to see my picture on Facebook, so that's why I asked the question in the poll, should I deactivate my Facebook account?

Last week of Term 1

Starting the week with a heavy heart. Hope that this week will end well. Am so looking for a short break.

Been bombarded with emails of vacation, so tempted to go. I guess I just have to think of something, somewhere to bring the kids. Been thinking about next week, planning things to do with children next week. Any suggestions?

New appliances

The washing machine really cannot make it. Went to courts to buy washing machine,$429 for a 8kg one. And a fridge, end up choosing LG one, 889 for a 407L one, after discount of $100. So I guess it should be ok pricing. Fridge was used for at least 10 years. Washing machine, at least 6 or 7 years.

Imagine

Facing the window, listening to iPod, doing some marking, too early for wine. Using plain water, imaging myself with a glass of white wine. Looking out at of the window, facing temasek poly, imagining I'm facing the sea. Nice!

doc gave me some pills for relaxation, say i'm too stressed. he even ask me to change my job. maybe i should seriously consider getting a 9-5 job.....

Dizzy spell

This week, I feel dizzy twice, like the world is spinning around me.

Once it was on Sunday, dizzy at giant, I actually knocked the person on my right because I couldn't balance.

Second time was in classroom, felt the room spinning, quickly sat on a table.
