i dunno where to begin. it's regarding the transportation problem for my children. we are still working out how best to solve the issue without upsetting much of our working schedule.

some may say transfer school.... but let me tell you, being in a new school has a lot of impacts on a child. for example, mabel, she had a nightmare last nite and she cried very loudly and she refuses to tell me what is her nightmare.

on wed nite, marcus told me over dinner that he loves his school. when i try to sound out to them that i may want to change school for them, they said no.

children adapt fast... not true, the impact on them is unmeasurable. i do not have the heart to upset them by changing school for them. it is not so simple....

anyway, i'm also upset now.... a little demoralised by work.... i shall not elaborate, there are eyes and ears on the internet.... upset

Well....now already having headaches regarding transport after a few days.

It is great to have the kids' feeling taken in consideration but think about the long run. Can this arrangement really work?

Taxi....the distance, the money, the time, not to mention if raining and the traffic jams. So
if the real need to change school out-weigh the initial negative impact for the children, then my advice is to do it. The children will understand and adapt in the new environment in no time.

To give every child a choice, you will end-up doing nothing which in the longer term will impact them even more....that is why as parents we are tasked to make the hard decisions. Not everyone can do that, but for the sake of the family....you must! No half hearted this and that.

ermm... does the school bus have tampines as an option?

but school bus is darn early man...

yaa i agree changing schools is the last option because it's very traumatic for a child to re-adapt.
